A school project which I did while doing my exchange in the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. In the beginning of the course we went to see the Dream Out Loud exhibition in Stedelijk Amsterdam. We had to select one work from the exhibition, that would work as a source of inspiration for the rest of the course.
I chose We Make Carpets - Stirrer Carpet. I really liked the feeling of depth in the work and the feeling that it almost felt like I was being pulled towards the artwork.
That gave me an idea to do a video installation that underlined that feeling even more.
I worked with Adobe After Effects and Trapcode Mir plug-in. This was my first time working with AE, and because of that I'm more than happy with the end result.
We also had to make a publication about our process and our essays that we wrote.
